主讲人简介：
於宁教授1996年获美国亚利桑那大学博士学位，现任美国宾西法尼亚州州立大学应用语言学和亚洲研究中心教授，主要研究课题为语言、文化与认知研究。於教授在概念隐喻研究方面取得了令人瞩目的研究成果，主要代表作有专著The contemporary theory of metaphor: A perspective from Chinese(1998)和The Chinese HEART in a cognitive perspective: Culture, body, and language(2009),研究成果发表于Cognitive Linguistics, Journal of Pragmatics, Metaphor and Symbol等SSCI认知语言学以及隐喻研究权威期刊。於教授担任John Benjamins出版社Cognitive Linguistic Studies in Cultural Context系列丛书编辑、International Journal of Chinese Linguistics和 Cognitive Semantics期刊编辑，International Journal of Language and Culture期刊和Cultural Linguistics丛书编委会成员。
